An attitude of gratitude
Almighty God, thank you for this day that have blessed me with. There are so many people who will not be able to see this day on earth, but you have kept me safe through the night. Thank you Lord for blessing me with
this wonderful life where I can thank and praise you.
Help me my God to keep you first place at all times in everything I do. I pray that you protect me from all harm and guide me into your love, happiness and peace. Amen.

Prayer for Job / Studies:
Oh holy God, I thank and bless you for another joyful day where I can live life according to your holy will. Lord, please be with me today as I work / study. Bless me with wisdom and strength so that everything I study / work on will prosper. Enlighten my mind so that I may be alert to what is required and do things according to your guidance.
Bless me with success in work / studies. Please let me find favor with my co workers and managers / students and teachers. May I learn, grow and get promoted to a higher level in life with your blessings. Amen.

Prayer for Peace:
Dear God, thank you for this beautiful day with all its splendor. Thank you for blessing me with another day in my life. Please bless me with peace of mind and heart. Lord my God, you are the prince of peace. Peace and goodness originates and overflows from you. Please take away all the worries and disappointments away from my life or equip me to face them bravely.
Grant me tranquility my God and let my mind be calm in your loving kindness. I will praise and thank you with all my heart and keep you first place at all times. Thank you Jesus. Amen.

The mindset:
When you approach God in prayer, make sure that you are thankful. The bible says,

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. ~ Psalm 100:4

No matter what your situation is give thanks to God. If you are unhappy due to some reason, muster all your courage and give thanks to God. Believe that God can change your situation around. If you are blessed with happiness, then praise and thank God all the more.

Pray with faith. Believe that God can work wonders in your life and he will.

Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

If it is possible, pray with your family or friends.

 "Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst." ~ Matthew 18: 18-20
